About Jesse gARTh Circus Arts

Jesse Garth Reimer-Watts was born in Toronto, and has always had an appreciation of human diversity. He trained at Atlantic Cirque and Halifax Circus, specializing in juggling and clowning. He also studied Early Childhood Education while out East, and did his Circus Instructor Training through Ecole Nationale de Cirque. He appreciates every opportunity to deepen his knowledge and expand his skillset. 

 

Jesse has a strong passion for education, self-expression, and the growth that comes with a creative practice. From a young age he has practiced various forms of performance art, beginning with dance and theatre and progressing to gymnastics and the circus arts. The circus arts are the widest umbrella, encompassing all that could be deemed a performance art under the big top. Circus has a long history, has transformed to fit the times over and again, and has kept the same core values throughout: a celebration of human potential, a reverence of the individual within the collective, and an open curiousity towards the act of creation.
